<mods:abstract>... You may rest assured that Capt. and Mrs. Keller would be as good to Eva as if she were a member of their own family. Capt. Keller will pay for her expenses here and should she wish to return to Boston in the autumn he will send her home, but if she likes her home here he will be only too glad to keep her for the children's sake and pay her wages. Of course when I come back I will look after Eva just as I should were she my younger sister. I am almost certain that she would be pleased with her surroundings and make many kind friends here. I have written to Mrs. Hopkins and I shall wait anxiously for news from you both. Helen is perfectly delighted at the prospect of having Eva stay with her. Hoping to hear from you soon.
