Title:
Letter from Michael Anagnos to Annie Sullivan, October 17, 1887 (p. 2 of 2)
Description:
P.S. I forgot, at the moment of writing the preceding, to allude to your kind offer to assist some one of our pupils who might like to settle in Tuscumbia. I thank you for your thoughtfulness in the matterm and I think of one of our pupils to whom it might be very valuable. Frank Washington is a good tuner and a young man of pleasing address, but his surroundings are so very unfavorable that he cannot do well in Providence. Will you please make inquiries of Capt. Keller and others, and let me know if there is a prospect of a tangible success for him in your vicinity? I should be glad to have him go, but he can not afford to risk much. I should have mentioned that he was one of the graduates of last year. M.A.
