Additional information accompanying item: Town house, British barracks, and State House--this old building (built in 1713) saw at first hand the birth of the Revolution. In 1776, the Declaration of Independence was read from the balcony to crowds who cheered in the streets below. It is the oldest state building in America, and houses a valuable collection of "Early Americana."
