Summary provided by the Society for American Baseball Research, 2010-2011.
Based on the Red Sox and visiting team's uniform styles, this photograph is from between 1933 and 1937. The patriotic bunting on the front of the stands is almost surely from an Opening Day (no Flag Day on June 14 matches these uniform styles). The only time during this period Boston opened their home season against a team with an all dark cap and a single horizontal stripe on their socks was 1934 vs. Washington (Society for American Baseball Research, 2010-2011).
