Collation: Parchment, fol. ii (paper) + ii + 87 + ii +i (paper) ; 1¹² 2⁸ 3¹² 4⁸ 5¹²⁺³ 6⁸ 7¹²⁻¹ 8¹⁸⁻⁴ (fol. 53-55 singletons; one cancel after fol. 73; final four leaves cancelled) ; modern arabic pencil foliation, upper outer corner each recto, skips the folio after 63 and so reaches 87 instead of 88.
Layout: 1 column, 15 lines. Bounding lines in red ink, doubled and full-length.
Script: Written in a gothic cursive in black ink with red rubrics.
Decoration: 2-line initials throughout in colors and gold with half- or three-quarter-foliate border, throughout (35 in all); six 7-line initials in similar style with half-border; full-page miniatures on fol. 1v (St. Margaret) and 87 (St. Peter).
Binding: Modern period style blind-stamped brown goatskin over boards, bevelled at center edges, gilt-fillet turn-ins, marbled paper pastedowns and conjugate flyleaves front and back, all edges gilt, board edges blind-tooled, spine blind-stamped in compartments; stored in cardboard slipcase covered with pastel marbled paper.
