Edmund Quincy House, 17 Elwood St. The basement kitchen and dining room were separate until Mr. Quincy tore out the partition and made one large room with a small fireplace in the front half, and oven and crane. The floor is tiled with some of the large square white and black tiles that came from the Old Waverly House in City Square. The wainscoting is painted blue, the wall paper is light, and the electric lights are sunk into the ceiling. The screen in front of the fireplace is a Hunt Dietriech.
