These notes were apparently taken by Maria Weston Chapman at the meetings of the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society. She records the resolution to request the withdrawal of the parent society's agents from the Commonwealth and the request not to admit the new organization as auxilliary, etc.
Included is a clipping entitled "Great Anti-Slavery Meeting in London. Formation of the British and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society." The clipping is from a London newspaper (perhaps the London Patriot) reporting the formation of the British and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society.
