Fred Robbins stands outside his white cart drawn by a dark horse. The card is either painted on notes or has signs that read “Please study John 3:16” across the top, “Mass. Bible Society” on the right and “F.M. Robbins Wilbraham” on the left. He stands near the door wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and dark bow tie and hat.

Notes:
Copy of an older photograph. Fred Robbins was born about 1870 in Wilbraham to Calvin Robbins and Maria Clark. He married Bessie Noyes in 1896. According to the caption of this photograph in Coralie Gray's Wilbraham, Fred “was an evangelist who lived in the first house on Springfield Street past the barbershop. For many years, he traveled spreading the word for the Massachusetts Bible Society. At first, he traveled by bicycle and then became the proud owner of this ex-mail cart and horse.”
