This item, consisting of 20 individual sheets and volumes, contains mostly Amos A, Phelps’s notes for his sermons. Some of the notes is written on the verso of Phelps’s letter to Mr. Russell (written on Dec. 7 1830) requesting that more publications be sent to him. Another set of notes, taken at the meeting of American Union, is written on a notebook made out of a letter sent to Phelps from his wife, Charlotte, which was written on May 21 1835.
