Humphry writes to Garrison expressing his sense of loss over the end of "The Liberator", declaring that it feels akin to "parting with a near & dear friend". Humphry states that many fellow subscribers have turned to George L. Stearns' "The Right Way", & requests that Garrison furnish him with copies of this newspaper until Garrison can "recommend us to something better". Humphry closes by sending his regards & sympathies to Mrs. Garrison, & states that he will write directly to Mr. Thayer, the newspaper's publisher.
