Letter from Oliver Johnson, New York, [N.Y.], to William Lloyd Garrison, 15 May 1862
Description:
Oliver Johnson informs William Lloyd Garrison that he has finished preparing the "Anniverary proceedings" for publication, and has left one remaining page for other matters. Johnson comments, concerning the quality of the reports, that it is their "good fortune in having such a report as Yerrinton". Johnson forwards to Garrison the last issue of "Browson's Quarterly", and issues a critique of the author's commitment to colonization. Johnson closes in informing Garrison that James Miller M'Kim writes that he is to voyage to Port Royal.
