Collation: Parchment, fol. iii (paper) + 77 + iii (paper) ; 1-7¹⁰ 8¹⁰⁻³ (final three leaves apparently cancelled) ; decorative catchwords in the center lower margin of the final verso of each quire. Modern arabic pencil foliation, first 1 or 2 leaves of each quire.
Layout: 1 column, 25 lines. Bounding and ruling lines in light plummet.
Script: Written in a southern gothic textualis formata in black ink with red rubrics.
Decoration: 1- and 2-line initials throughout alternating red and blue; 5-line blue and white initial with red filigree, fol. 1.
Binding: 17th-century limp vellum with 2 alum-tawed ties, paper pastedowns and flyleaves, watermark of scales in a circle; 17th-century title on spine: "REGOLA/ del/ TERZO ORDINE/ DI/ SANCTO FRANCE/SCO" and "COD. MEM[BR]/SAEC...." [the remainder faded]. In tan cloth-covered clamshell box.
