Will permit republications of his works. Has decided not to suppress the Progress of Dulness [1772], and has transcribed The Vanity of Ambition. Will republish McFingal [1775, 1782]. If the addressee intends to publish an edition of American poets, the writer suggests he include [Rowland] Rugely, Governor [W.] Livingston, Samuel Quincy, and others.
