William Lloyd Garrison gives an account of his visit to Philadelphia. He accompanied Mary Brown and met her art teachers. Garrison went to Longwood, Pennsylvania, and stayed with John and Hannah Cox. He tells about the five adult Cox children. Oliver Johnson, John White Chadwick, and Mrs. Celia Burleigh came to the meeting in Longwood. Lucretia Mott spoke on the women's rights movement. Garrison will stay with Miss Brown for a few days. He sends messages to Agnes Garrison and the Villard children.
