View of the empty interior of Dwight Hall. In the center of the photograph is a wooden stage with chairs arranged in a semicircle. At the foot of the stage is a pipe organ. Empty chairs line the walls. Above the chairs along the walls are large multipaned windows, with light fixtures attached to the wall inbetween the windows. The auditorium in the main building is named for John Sullivan Dwight, friend of directors Howe and Anagnos and a Perkins trustee for eighteen years during the late 19th century. Dwight promoted music in public schools and in the Perkins curriculum, and compiled music books in braille.
