  <mods:abstract>Hamilton discovered in court that these screws had been tampered with. It was at this time that the court issued an order "that all exhibits should be turned over the Clerk of the Superior Court. Gov't. Asst. Dist. Atty. J.W. Kieth gave the order to have revolver opened &amp; in this position when photographed. Gave no reason why. Opening the revolver permits the screw "C" to assume an angle of 45 degrees or nearly to the angle it had Apl 7. '23 before the screws had been tampered vith viz 49 degrees. See item 6, photo #1. Opening the revolver for photographing did not restore screw E to its original position.</mods:abstract>
