<mods:abstract>George Jeffrey Tillotson writes to Amos A. Phelps congratulating him on his marriage and the "precious pearl you have lately found." Tillotston tells Phelps about his congretation and the religious situation in Athol and the neighboring town of Royalston, Massachusetts, claiming "the state of religion has every week been becoming more interesting." Tillotson also discusses a renewed invitation to Berlin, Connecticut, which he has now accepted and will be going to Berlin for four weeks.</mods:abstract>
