S. W. Benedict congratulates Amos A. Phelps's safe return home [after attending the International Peace Congress in London] and praises his communication in the Evangelist. He says the books he was to send to Phelps are ready, but he is waiting to arrange the matter with Tappan as instructed by Phelps. He mentions that the note against Pratt has not been paid yet.
