Raymond N. Kieft, a longtime resident of Colorado, served as president of Mesa State College before coming east. During his tenure at Framingham State College, funds were authorized to construct the new athletic center and technology programs were started. After a relatively short stint as president, he returned to his home state and its board of higher education.
