- The Bridge of Sighs - Wells Hall & May Hall, c.1950
This arched pedestrian bridge was frequently referred to as "the Bridge of Sighs" after the original one in Venice, Italy. This above-ground structure connected Wells Hall to the north side of May Hall; an underground tunnel also ran between the two buildings.
