The Bufford Lith. Co., Boston, Mass. Lithograph, 1889. Two color views of the Merrimack River. Upper view shows a steamboat and several sailboats on the river with trees and pasture on both sides of the river and a very artificial-looking setting sun. Lower view shows the city of Haverhill on the far side of the river; key at bottom locates a number of different sites on the map. On the reverse is a map of the Merrimack River Valley, Lawrence to Haverhill, Mass., 1889, with some information on the benefits from the proposed Haverhill & Lawrence Railroad. 53.5 x 71 cm. (OCLC)
