Captioned "Destruction of Hood's Ordinance Train", Atlanta, Georgia, October 1864. On September 1, 1864, retreating Confederates set fire to the train. The ensuing blast also destroyed the Confederate Rolling Mill next to the tracks. Man standing near center. Five chimneys in ruins of buildings.
