Single leaf, containing a portion of the litanies from a 15th-century Delft book of hours.
Origin: Written in the Netherlands, probably Delft, in the third quarter of the 15th century. This leaf is quite similar in style and format to BPL MS q Med.86 and appears to be from the same workshop.

Provenance: Removed from a book of hours, formerly in the collection of Philip J. van Alfen (1894-1969). This manuscript was offered by Sotheby's, London, in 1972 (10 July, lot 72) and later by Christie's, London, in 1986 (25 June, lot 201) and was dismembered shortly after. Other leaves of the same manuscript are now in Atlanta, Pitts Theology Library, Emory University, RG 020-2; Cleveland Museum of Art, TR 1999.133; Notre Dame, Hesburgh Libraries, MSE/MR 09; and in a private collection in the Netherlands.

Layout: Bounding and writing lines in brown plummet, bounding lines full-length.
Decoration: In the outer margin of the recto, a bird with a banderole reading "Si sellen mit mi wa[n]de/ren in witten clederen want siis w[er]dich siin"; in the outer margin of the verso, a bird with a banderole reading "Dat seker h[er]t is altoes blide."
Binding: Tipped into a heavy matte and housed in an oversize folder.
