Script: Written in a Gothic rotunda in black ink with red rubrics.
Layout: 1 column, 5 staves. Bounding and writing lines in light plummet, vertical bounding lines full-length. Square Gregorian notation on a four-line red staff.
Decoration: Recto: 1-staff high blue initial with red and green filigree; verso: 2-staff high historiated floriate initial in colors on gold with ơ-border consisting of a linear column in colors with acanthus and gold balls, with floral sprays into lower and upper margins: St. Paul holding a sword and a stack of epistles, the outermost reading "Ad romanos". The historiated initial has been cut out and restored, necessitating the addition of later patches and repainting where the repair borders the leaf.
