At the far side of a courtyard, two buildings form an angle. In the building at the left is a closed door, near a large window in front of which a woman is standing. Above are two windows, one of them at the angle, back of a curved balcony supported by an elliptical arch. Clothing is hung on a line stretched from the wall at the right to the upper window at the left. The butterfly, shaded, is above the door.
