C. Austin Joy writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to sending a check for $30.07. Of these the larger part is a contribution from friends of [George] Latimer, to be disbursed in his behalf by Edmund Quincy; the rest is from A. Barney and the writer for the Liberty Bell and in payment for 500 copies of Dr. Channing's last address. A benefit sale is to be held next week in Nantucket, and unsold articles of sufficient value will be sent to Boston for a table there.
