- Letter from Chales Lenox Remond, Salem, [Massachusetts], to Samuel May, 1852 June 21
Charles Lenox Remond writes to Samuel May discussing his upcoming travel and lecture plans. He says he "shall endeavor to be present at Abington on the 5th" but he will not go Stoughton on the 4th "since I am utterly unknown to the inhabitants of that Town." Remond also says he will try to attend the Essex County Anti-Slavery Society meetings at Georgetown at the end of the week and that he needs to cancel plans to lecture with Daniel Foster, as he did not realize it was the same day he will be attending the meetings in Georgetown.
