John Harfield Tredgold writes to William Lloyd Garrison on behalf of the British and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society to inform him that a resolution was passed by the society to invite him to the "sittings of the Conferences now in session at Freemasons Hall [the World Anti-Slavery Convention]." He adds that "a card of admission" for Garrison will be available "at the Committee Room adjoining the Hall."
