Frederick A. Hinton writes to William Lloyd Garrison and Isaac Knapp introducing to their "kind notice & care Mr. Joseph Wilson, a young gentleman of great resp[ec]tability who comes to y[ou]r city for the purpose of learning a trade." Hinton says that as a friend of his family, he "feel[s] a great interest in his well well being."
