Description:
Francis Bishop writes to Mary Anne Estlin on November 30, 1854 in regards to the conference he attended with abolitionists from the American Anti-Slavery Society. He writes about resolutions that were discussed and the different abolitionists who he talked with. He discussed Mr. Pillsbury's speech which was "fulll of power" and contained "radical truths" regarding the Quakers in America. Francis Bishop writes to Mary Anne Estlin on December 3rd, 1854 in regards to the events of another meeting held by the American Anti-Slavery Society.
