Letter from Mary Anne Estlin, London, [England], to Francis Jackson Garrison, 1877 July 16
Description:
Mary Anne Estlin writes to Francis Jackson Garrison regarding his father's health and his excursions near Leeds. She writes that "you must not let him use the word 'grateful' to any of us, when we are all feeling so overflowing with thankfullness to him & for him! He little knows how many hearts he has strengthened, and what speech courage he has inspired in all who listened to him at the conference." She writes of giving instruction to Janet to "direct it to you & to forward the others to America." She hopes to meet him and to hear of his plans after his "programme in Edinburgh while you are with dear Mr. McKim."
