Letter from Harriet Minot Pitman, Providence, [Rhode Island], to Helen Eliza Garrison, [1865] March 13th
Description:
Harriet M. Pitman writes to Helen Eliza Garrison commenting how "very sad to have your arm still helpless" and recommending she come with her husband, William Lloyd Garrison, to see "Dr. Dow" in Providence to treat it. She then offers to look for a nurse in Providence to help her. On the second page Pitman dates a new paragraph "[March] 15th" and discusses her search for a boarding house for Garrison, also telling her that Mary Grew will be visiting soon.
