Description:
George C. Warr, secretary of the Cobden Club, writes to William Lloyd Garrison inviting him to the Cobden Club dinner in London on July 17th. He adds that a "special Steam Boat" will pick up members by the House of Commons stairs to bring them to the dinner and return them back there afterwards.

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on white paper. In the tail- spine corner, next to the autograph, a note in purple ink reads, "W.L.G.'s reply, dated July 1/75, published in N.Y. World of Sept. 28."
