He writes, "One Methodist minister has already come among them and is practicing all the arts and devises of which he is cabale to make them have-or as Dr. Beecher says to make them 'wallow on the floor and froth at the mouth.' Three of the females last week were as in a trance." He writes of other news of the townspeople of South Berswick.
