Description:
John Calvin Webster writes to Amos A. Phelps requesting an examination of the busts in the British Museum while Phelps is abroad in London. He writes, "Perhaps it has always occurred to you to examine them if not this is simply to remind you to do so, & ascertain, if possible, the identity of their features and those of the present Corsican race." He adds lastly, "I pray that the Holy Spirit may rest upon your Convention in behalf of the oppressed."
