Description:
Daniel Ricketson writes to William Lloyd Garrison inviting him to the an [Anti-Slavery] fair in New Bedford next week. Ricketson tells Garrison they want Miss [Sallie] Holley come speak if possible as "Many are desirous of hearing her" and "It would in our opinion help the fair [and] the Cause generally." Ricketson also invites Garrison and Mr. [Wendell] Phillips to speak as they "always make deep impressions in New Bedford, and there has never been a time when more good could be done for the cause than the present."
