Description:
Mary A. Rawson writes to William Lloyd Garrison accepting his invitation to call on her. Rawson informs Garrison that there are many trains available to reach Sheffield and if he notifies her what time he should arrive, she could order a carriage to meet him at the station. Rawson also thanks Garrison for the "lovely memoir of your sainted wife" and laments that "all my old Anti-Slavery friends are gone to the world of light and love."
