Aerial view of the Whittier Mills, Chattahoochee, Georgia. Gelatin silver print, [1947-54]. Image depicts an aerial view of the Whittier Mills in Chattahoochee, Georgia. The plant is one story, with multiple sections, and a chimney in the rear. All of the buildings have been identified in red ink on the photograph, such as the weave room, the cloth room, the slasher room, the office, the shipping room, etc., as well as separate buildings from the main plant, such as the dye house, the carpenter shop, and several warehouses. The Chattahoochee River is identified in the background. Houses are visible in the foreground in front of the plant, but behind the plant is rural area.
