Two barges with masts are moored near a wharf on the right, on which several men stand near some low sheds. On the further bank of the Canal is a row of willows. The side of the nearer barge, the plank thrown across from it to the shore, the stem of the other barge, and the walls of the sheds, are darkened with dry point.
