The same composition as in Dodgson Nos. 209-211, but on a larger plate, and improved. The road seems to mount from a lower level, and contains two carts, one resting near the cottages, the other advancing, with a man walking beside the horse. Above the bank on the right a wall is clearly defined, with a tall bush at the edge of the plate, a low one farther down the road, near the cart.
