Description:
Four story Shingle Style house in winter. A half-round tower with an open third story is integrated into the porch. There is a large carriage house behind the house. The house was built in 1890 by Holyoke real estate developer Oren D. Allyn, who resided here from 1894 until his death in 1929. In 1927 the address was changed from 281-283 Locust Street to 141 Locust.
