The group was protesting Harvard building plan which, they claimed, was taking land needed for low-cost housing. Group left after Pusey gave their leader Mrs. Sandra Graham (center, dark jersey) permission to speak from podium. James Reston, vice president of New York Times is in left background next to tent pole. He received an honorary degree.
