Notes:: Normal Hall, the first dormitory building on the State Normal School campus, was erected in 1869. The building was enlarged in 1873 to increase the number of students housed from 54 to 148. The building was replaced by the "new" Normal Hall (later renamed Tillinghast Hall) in 1917.
