<mods:abstract>Students attending morning exercises in the Assembly room in the Normal School Building, State Normal School at Bridgewater.</mods:abstract>
<mods:note>Normal School students began each school day with "morning exercises" led by the principal, Albert G. Boyden. According to one student reminiscence of the time, the daily assembly included a scripture reading by the principal Albert G. Boyden, singing by the student body, and a talk or lecture about "a subject of interest" from Mr. Boyden.</mods:note>
