The title printed on the front of the postcard erroneously cites the name of the Gymnasium building as the "Abner Gardner Boyden" Gymnasium. The building was named for the then-principal of the school, Albert Gardner Boyden. The Gymnasium was built in 1904 and dedicated in June 1905.
