Located on Main Street in Lancaster Center, the Rand-Huntington-Dorr House, c. 1810, was occupied by Nathaniel Rand. In 1832, Rand sold it to Joseph Huntington. His daughter Julia married Mr. Dorr; their son, prominent Boston lawyer Dudley Huntington Dorr, later inherited it. After 127 years, it was sold out of the family. The place was remodeled c. 1900 and again c. 1959.
