Under the leadership of Head coach Affleck and team Captain Rossetti, the team finished the season with a record of 3 wins, 1 loss, and 0 ties. Springfield defeated Yale in it's first game of the season with a final score of 5 to 2. However, the next game at Harvard the team was not as fortunate, losing to the strong team from Harvard 4 to 0. The team bounced back and went on to win the final 2 games of the season against Dartmouth and Worcester Academy, winning both of those games with a final score of 6 to 0.
