Bedstead comprised of two sections that stand independently; red wash paint; modern roping. A) Pine headboard with sloped shoulders tenoned into low squared posts with lamb's tongue chamfered edges; side rails with holes for rope; end rail cuts through side rails and terminates in square legs. B) Foot section, narrower than headboard, of four squared rails; side rails with channels cut to allow rope to lie flush with top surface. Four square legs, mortise and tenoned to rails with end legs terminating in chamfered low posts.
