'This picture shows members of the sixth grade class dressed in patriotic garb. Sumner is dressed as Abraham Lincoln, probably wearing his father's frock coat and top hat. He went on to serve the Town of Plymouth for twenty-seven years as a selectman. He was a local lawyer and, when he retired, the 'new' fire station on Sandwich Street was named for him. Pictured, second from left: my uncle, Sumner Allen Chapman, Jr. Location: Sandwich Street.'
