'The Junior High Band was like a family, we still try to get together 65+ years later, many are no longer with us, but those remaining travel from far and near to be together and reminisce, even by phone. It was such a welcoming community, doors were open, if you ran out of something, you went to your neighbor to borrow whatever was needed. Kids in the neighborhood with disabilities played with all the neighborhood kids, everyone looked out for one another. Pictured: myself Sheila Tall Kipnis, middle row, 9th in from the left.'
